Isabelle Doll Ngcobo is Soweto Street Beat's Artistic Director and choreographer. As a life long professional dancer, she began her training at the age of seven, studying ballet at the Riverlea Ballet Center in Johannesburg.

She continued her dance studies at the Johannesburg Youth Center. One of the first South Africans to dance professionally at segregated venues, Isabelle performed all over South Africa and in Europe.

In 1990 she was nominated for Best Contemporary Choreographer at the Dance Umbrella Vita Awards. In 1996, she was guess choreographer, and the only African, at the Cultural Olympiad during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta GA. She has conducted numerous workshops and seminars in the US.
